On June 20, the first Hospitality Connect Conference 2024 took place in Kyiv, organized by the Export Promotion Center in partnership with the Ukrainian Horeca Cluster with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy of Ukraine Program.
Over 100 participants attended the event, including restaurateurs, hoteliers, purchasers, suppliers, and manufacturers of HoReCa sector products.
A highlight of the event was the presentation of the Ukrainian Horeca Cluster by Irina Zelenina and Oleksii Akimov, showcasing months of dedicated work. The mission of the Ukrainian Horeca Cluster is to unite manufacturers and market players in the hotel and restaurant business to create an efficient cross-sectoral platform. This initiative aims to boost the domestic HoReCa market, enhance competitiveness, expand export opportunities, and ensure sustainable industry growth and international promotion of Ukrainian production enterprises.
Key topics discussed during the conference included the importance of using Ukrainian products, building the brand of national manufacturers, utilizing local products in Ukrainian restaurants, and the challenges and opportunities for Ukrainian manufacturers to enter international markets with products for the HoReCa sector.
A dedicated presentation area featured companies producing HoReCa products, including furniture, textiles, food and beverages, ceramics, and cosmetics. Special thanks were extended to esteemed speakers for their motivational speeches and valuable insights for Ukrainian HoReCa product manufacturers.
The event was made possible by the USAID Competitive Economy of Ukraine Program and Ukrainian Horeca Cluster, with co-organization by Idealsecrets and flawless technical organization by UNIT.City. Chief Catering provided delicious catering, and gratitude was expressed to the entire Ukrainian Horeca Cluster team for their tremendous efforts in event preparation.
Looking forward to future meetings!
